QUESTION:
Was the Earth created over billions of years?
Or was it created in only six days?
ANSWER:
Science says Earth was not created but just happened over billions of years.
The Holy Bible says Earth was created by God in six days.
QUESTION:
Is life on Earth the product of mindless biologic evolution through countless events of genetic mutation and natural selection with survival of the fittest mutations?
Or is life on Earth composed of myriad special creations by God in His infinite artistry?
ANSWER:
“Scientists” insist on biologic evolution, but cannot find hard evidence or proof. (See string of posts titled “The ContraFaith of Evolutionists.”)
The Holy Bible describes special creations by God, which fit the observed data.
QUESTION:
If you believe science, must you reject the Bible’s creation account in Genesis?
If you believe the Bible, are you just taking a “blind” leap of faith?
ANSWER:
You can believe the Earth is very ancient (billions of years).
You need not believe that life arose by biologic evolution.
You can believe that creation took place in six days.
You can believe that all life is the result of special creation by God. (See string of posts titled “The Age of the World Argument: An Alternative.”)
How can I give the answers to the questions asked above? Am I contradicting myself?
I am if I accept only two possible solutions to the argument of ancient vs. young Earth.
But what if there is a third solution, another option for creation?
What if the Bible’s first book of Genesis describes creation of a world different from the world we live and practice science in now?
If this seems like a ridiculous question, try to think outside the box that others have constructed. Demand all your options before being forced into a false dialectic.
